With the pandemic and the state of the economy I’ve not been posting anything for a while. Plus I’ve put a hold on any HomeKit upgrades. But this doesn’t mean that I’ve lost interest in Home Automation. To keep the interest, I have curated HomeKit articles in a magazine called Apple HomeKit Magazine in Flipboard.
If you haven’t heard about Flipboard, it’s an app created by Mike McCue “as one place to find the stories for your day, bringing together your favorite news sources with social content, to give a deep view into everything from political issues to technology trends to travel inspiration”. This post covers my creation of an Apple HomeKit Magazine in Flipboard.
The look and feel of Flipboard is like a digital magazine and as the name suggest you ‘flip’ through the app as if it’s a magazine. Therefore, the best way to use the app is on a table like an iPad. It truly gives you the feeling of reading a real magazine!
The articles/posts are mostly links to pages on other sites and can also be YouTube videos. I also include ethanlim.com posts in Flipboard as well. It’s an AMAZING app and I strongly advise you to check it out.
Currently my Apple HomeKit magazine is a collection of Home Automation News and Articles primarily on Apple’s HomeKit articles. At the moment there are 931 stories/articles in it. 4,046 Viewers who have gone through 33,397 Page flips. 230 Apple Homekit Fans are Followers of the magazine. THANK YOU FOLLOWERS!
However, I choose to leave out articles or stories on price cuts, discounts, and sales because majority of readership from my site is not from the US, and those discount articles are predominantly US-centric.
In conclusion, don’t only take my word for it. Check out my magazine today, and please Follow it if you want an easy option to keep track of HomeKit specific Home Automation. Thanks for reading!
